Christophe Lee joined Sun Hung Kai Financial in 2000 and is the CEO of SHK Fund Management, a specialist in alternative investments. Prior to joining Sun Hung Kai, Christophe was an Executive Director at the FICC Division of Goldman Sachs LLC (Hong Kong). Christophe has also worked for Banker Trust (Hong Kong) and Banque Indosuez (Hong Kong). Christophe is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (Bachelor of Applied Science, 1991). Christophe is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Chapter of Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA).
Rizal Wijono has over 14 years experience in the financial services industry in Asia. Prior to joining the Group, Rizal was Regional Director - Head of Product Strategy and Services at Deutsche Asset Management Asia Pacific (DeAM) in Singapore. Before that he spent 9 years with ING Investment Management Asia Pacific in a variety of positions with exposure to product development, wholesale and institutional sales, business management and establishing ING Investment Management businesses across 10 countries in Asia. In his last role, Rizal was a member of ING's Asia Pacific Management Executive Committee responsible for wholesale sales and business development across Asia. Before ING, Rizal was the Head of Private Banking for Dharmala Investment Management Services Ltd and helped Belgian Bank set up a Euro-desk for its international client base. Rizal is proficient in 6 languages which include Dutch, French, German, English, Bahasa and Chinese Putonghua.
Rizal is a graduate of the University of Antwerp (Belgium) with a Bachelor Degree in Applied Business Economics and holds a Management Degree (Equivalent to an MBA) from the Xavier Institute of Management (XIM, India).
Christine Wong
Director, Fund Administration & Finance
Christine has over 13 years experience in fund administration and accounting. Prior to joining Sun Hung Kai, Christine was Vice President at HSBC Alternative Fund Services. Christine has also worked at Fortis Bank, Morgan Stanley and Ernst & Young. Christine has an MBA and BA in Business Studies from City University of Hong Kong, and she is a qualified accountant (Fellow member of ACCA).
Richard Wang
Director, Business Development
Richard Wang joined the Group in 2007 and is the Director, Business Development for North Asia. Richard has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry and was elected as the "Leader of Taiwan Financial Elite" in 2000. Prior to joining SHK Fund Management Ltd, Richard was the Regional Director of Forsyth Partner, Chief Executive Officer of Taiwan International Asset Management Limited, Director of Yuanta Asset Management Limited.
Richard has a Master of Science Degree from Temple University, Philadelphia and a Bachelor Degree from Chinese Culture University, Taiwan.
Viola Tam
Director, Business Development
Viola Tam joined the company in 2005 and is the Director of Business Development. She has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry in Asia. Prior to joining SHK she was the Vice President of BT Funds Management, Director of Mutual Fund Sales & Distribution of Principal Global Investors, Regional Director - Business Development of Oria Capital Limited. Viola graduated from University of Hong Kong and is a member of the Hong Kong Securities Institute and Membership Committee of Hong Kong Securities Institute.
Andrew Ang
Director, Business Development
Andrew Ang joined the company in 2007 and is the Director of Business Development championing the group's South East Asia operations. He has over 13 years experience in the financial industry with in-depth knowledge of banking operations, middle office to front office. Prior to joining the Group Andrew was responsible for Business Development of Pioneer Investments. Andrew is a graduate from University of London in BSc (Economics) in Management Studies.
Sabrina Lam
Director, Business Development
Sabrina Lam joined SHK Fund Management in January 2008 as a Director in Business Development. Prior to joining the Group, Sabrina was the Vice President of JF Asset Management Intermediary Sales Department. Sabrina has also worked for the Global Custodian Team in Chase Manhattan Bank. Sabrina is a graduate from the University of Curtin, Western Australia, majoring in Banking and Finance.
Siddarth Kumar
Director of Marketing and Business Development
Siddharth Kumar has worked in the alternative investment space in Asia, Japan and Europe for the past 3 years focusing on capital introduction for alternative investment funds, being based out of London until recently. Prior to that he spent 3 years at Shinsei Bank in Tokyo working in the corporate credit markets and was closely involved in the rehabilitation of distressed loans during the banking crisis. He has a Masters degree from Cranfield University in England.
Felix Wong
Senior Manager, Operations
Felix Wong joined the Group in 2007 and is the senior manager of Operations. Felix's experience range from compliance to business process improvement. Prior to joining the SHK Fund Management Ltd, Felix was the Operations Manager of Hindsight Asset Management, Financial Controller in Rock Absolute Return Ltd, Chief Operating Officer in HT Capital Management.
Felix graduated from Western Sydney University.
Ken Wong
Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, SHK Asia Dynamic Fund
Ken Wong has over 15 years experience in equity derivatives trading in Asian markets. Prior to joining SHK Fund Management Limited, Ken worked at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Asia Limited in 2004 as Executive Director, Equity Derivatives and Cash Trading, where he managed the overall risk of the trading desk, and designed and implemented the risk management system for the trading team. From 1996-2004 Ken worked at Deutsche Securities Asia Limited in Hong Kong, where was Director of Global Equity Derivatives Trading. At Deutsche Ken managed risk for Asia ex-Japan markets, and was also in charge of developing new product and business strategies for Asian markets. Ken started his career at Swiss Bank Corp. in 1992 and worked there until 1996. At Swiss Bank Ken's responsibilities included market making and trading index and single stock options & listed warrants in Hong Kong.
Ken has a Master of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a Bachelor of Science (Physics) Degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Ben Weiss
Portfolio Manager, SHK Global Equity Fund
Ben joined the Group in June 2008 after having developed and tested the SHK Global Equity Fund Investment Strategy over the course of the past 12 months. Prior to joining the Group, Ben was an analyst with Shinsei Bank in Tokyo, managing a portfolio of Japanese equities. Ben has also worked as a financial analyst for AXA and Salomon Smith Barney, and in law with Baker & McKenzie. Ben is an admitted solicitor in New South Wales, Australia, a graduate of the Sydney College of Law (Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice), and a graduate of the University of New South Wales (Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws).
